Trinity Health Behavioral Center is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dedicated team. • Conduct comprehensive patient intakes, focusing on diagnostic and functional evaluations to formulate tailored treatment plans.
• Provide brief, evidence-based interventions for clients facing mental health challenges and assist in setting realistic treatment goals.
• Collaborate closely with primary care providers by advising on patient management and referring individuals to specialty services when necessary.
• Monitor treatment progress through regular follow-ups and adjust plans as needed to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on self-management strategies and coping skills to promote autonomy in their treatment journeys.
• Document all patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans accurately in compliance with organizational standards.
• Lead initiatives to identify at-risk clients and develop intervention plans to prevent further deterioration of their mental health.
• Participate in clinic-wide efforts to evaluate behavioral health services, ensuring that programs meet quality and effectiveness standards.
• Adhere to the organization’s Code of Ethical Conduct while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall goals of the organization.

The LPC will work with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients, addressing a variety of mental health and psychosocial issues. • Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Thorough understanding of mental health assessment techniques, treatment planning, and knowledge of the DSM-IV.
• Experience with individual and group therapy practices, including family therapy and interventions for developmental disorders.
• Strong analytical skills to effectively gauge client progress and adapt therapeutic approaches as necessary.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to support collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare teams.

• Fluency in English and Spanish is highly desirable to enhance communication with our diverse clientele.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting or community health environment preferred.
• Knowledge of available community resources to facilitate client referrals and support services.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 87,000 – 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
