Community Uplifters LLC is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who will play a critical role in enhancing the mental health and overall well-being of our clients in Spokane, Washington. This role is performed remotely within our Community Health Clinic framework, allowing our Social Workers to balance their professional responsibilities with their personal lives while still engaging closely with clients. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical services to clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders both virtually and in community settings.
  • Engage with clients to develop and maintain trusting and supportive relationships, adhering to high standards of professional ethical guidelines.
  • Create, implement, and monitor integrated care plans that facilitate access to essential services, ensuring coordinated care among clients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Conduct evidence-based assessments and screenings, adjusting care strategies based on the individual needs of clients.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy, tailored to each client's specific circumstances, while also carrying a manageable caseload.
  • Participate in crisis intervention as necessary and assist clients in navigating challenging situations.
  • Collaborate actively with your team to evaluate treatment outcomes and enhance service delivery across various programs.
  • Ensure timely documentation and reporting in line with organizational standards to maintain compliance and support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Take part in ongoing professional development by participating in committees focused on enhancing agency service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with diverse populations that include individuals from various cultural backgrounds and those experiencing significant barriers to mental health services. Many clients may have complex needs, requiring tailored therapeutic approaches that respect their individual experiences. You will enhance patient outcomes by providing holistic care that empowers clients to take charge of their mental health.

Qualifications
  • Licensed as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.
  • Expert knowledge in assessment, diagnosis, treatment, risk assessment, and crisis management related to mental health issues.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, allowing for effective interactions with clients, families, and team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and work respectfully within a diverse environment, adapting strategies based on varying cultural backgrounds and needs.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to manage caseloads effectively and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a clinical social worker is preferred; experience in community health settings is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems to document client interactions and outcomes.
  • Knowledge of community resources and services available to clients for enhanced referral processes.
Compensation and Benefits
