What is entry level relocation assistance?

Entry level relocation assistance refers to support and benefits provided by employers to help new or recent hires, particularly those just starting their careers, move to a new city or location for a job. This assistance can include reimbursement for moving expenses, temporary housing, travel costs, or even help finding accommodation. The goal is to make the transition as smooth and affordable as possible for entry-level employees, who may not have the financial resources to cover relocation costs on their own. The specific benefits offered can vary greatly by company and job role.

What are entry-level relocation assistance jobs?

Entry-level relocation assistance jobs include two separate job categories. One category is entry-level jobs where the employer pays for relocation assistance. For example, when you complete a graduate degree and move to work for a tech company, the company may pay for you to relocate to a different state or city. Other entry-level relocation assistance jobs are human resources positions that have job duties transferring new or current employees to a different location. You communicate with the new employee to determine what kind of moving services they need and contract with the appropriate vendors and service providers. You may be responsible for a specific territory or part of the country.

What types of support can I expect from a company offering entry-level relocation assistance, and how does the process typically work?

When a company provides entry-level relocation assistance, you can generally expect help with moving expenses, such as transportation of belongings, temporary housing arrangements, or travel costs to your new location. Some employers may also offer guidance through a relocation coordinator to help you find housing, connect with local resources, and settle into your new community. The process usually involves an initial discussion with HR or a relocation specialist to outline your needs, followed by the provision of services or reimbursements according to company policy. It's important to clarify which costs are covered and the timeline for utilizing these benefits before you move.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in an entry-level relocation assistance role, and why are they important?

To thrive in an entry-level relocation assistance role, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of logistics, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software, scheduling tools, and office productivity systems is typically required. Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused attitude help you stand out in assisting clients through the relocation process. These skills ensure smooth transitions for clients, efficient coordination, and high levels of customer satisfaction in a detail-oriented environment.

Job description

Leo Auto Group is hiring Service Technicians with immediate openings for all skill levels across central Indiana. Whether you're early in your career and building your foundation or you're a senior diag tech who eats intermittent electrical problems for breakfast, we want to talk.

We run clean shops with proper tooling, OEM scan tools, and a parts department that actually answers the phone. Our service lanes stay busy -- you won't be standing around waiting for work orders. We pay flat rate based on your skill set and certifications, and we invest in training because a better technician is better for everyone.

What You'll Do

- Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on customer vehicles

- Diagnose concerns using OEM-level test plans, scan tools, and proper verification steps

- Handle electrical and drivability diagnostics appropriate to your skill level

- Document findings and repairs clearly and accurately

- Work with service advisors and parts to keep repair flow moving

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

All Skill Levels

We're not just hiring master techs. We hire at every level and develop from within.

- Entry-level / Early-career -- solid mechanical fundamentals, willingness to learn, and the discipline to do the job right from day one

- Mid-level -- consistent productivity with a focus on quality, comfortable with a broad range of repairs

- Advanced / Master -- complex diagnostics, electrical, drivability, and the kind of problems other shops send away

Brand-specific training and ASE certifications are a plus at any level, but strong fundamentals and a good attitude matter more than a wall of plaques.

What We're Looking For

- Valid driver's license

- Own tools appropriate to your skill level (we provide specialty and shop equipment)

- Pride in doing the job right -- not just doing it fast

- Team-first attitude -- the shop runs on communication between techs, advisors, and parts

- Willingness to pursue ongoing training and certification

What We Offer

- $30-$62/hour based on skill set and certifications

- Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates

- Relocation assistance available

- Health, dental, and vision insurance

- 401(k) retirement plan

- Paid time off and holidays

- Employee vehicle purchase program

- Ongoing manufacturer and industry training
