Mazza Recycling is hiring an Entry-Level Recycling Laborer in Tinton Falls, NJ. Pay starts at $17.00 per hour, with overtime opportunities, paid training, benefits, and room to grow. Responsibilities

  • Sort incoming recyclable materials, construction debris, and other loads into the correct categories for processing, recovery, or disposal.
  • Support daily recycling plant, yard, and warehouse operations by keeping work areas clean, safe, and organized.
  • Assist with equipment startup and shutdown procedures and complete basic visual equipment inspections as directed.
  • Remove trash, metal, and other contaminants from finished material to maintain product quality.
  • Monitor material piles and identify prohibited items, hazardous debris, or safety concerns.
  • Report equipment issues, leaks, damage, or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
  • Help maintain crushing, screening, stacking, and material-handling areas while supporting overall site productivity.
  • Follow company safety procedures and participate in on-the-job training to build operational skills and prepare for advancement.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
