Alternative Wellness Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Coordinator to lead agency-wide quality initiatives that improve clinical documentation, operational efficiency, compliance, and client outcomes.
If you're passionate about process improvement, behavioral health, data-driven decision-making, and helping organizations achieve excellence, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
As our CQI Coordinator, you will:
  • Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives across multiple programs
  • Conduct clinical chart audits and provide coaching to staff
  • Develop and improve policies, procedures, and documentation standards
  • Monitor quality metrics and recommend operational improvements
  • Interpret MaineCare and behavioral health regulations
  • Coordinate regulatory compliance activities and critical incident reporting
  • Train new employees on documentation standards and quality expectations
  • Partner with leadership to improve organizational performance

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related behavioral health field
  • Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or social services
  • Experience with quality improvement, compliance, or operational excellence
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
  • Ability to obtain MHRT/C certification within the required employment timeframe
