Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a QA Automation Engineer based in Netherlands.

This role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of mobile-driven notification systems through structured testing and real-world usage scenarios.
You will participate in hands-on QA activities involving modern mobile applications running on Android devices.
The position emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and consistent daily execution of test workflows over a defined period.
You will work with notification-heavy environments to validate sorting, behavior tracking, and system responsiveness.
The role is fully remote and designed for professionals comfortable using mobile-first testing setups.
It offers exposure to experimental AI-driven product development and emerging mobile technologies.
It is a short-term, project-based engagement with potential consideration for future assignments based on performance.

Accountabilities:
  • Execute structured QA testing workflows focused on mobile notification systems and app behavior validation.
  • Use Android-based devices (Google Pixel 9 or newer) to simulate real-world user interactions and test notification handling.
  • Perform daily test activities, including notification sorting, organization, and documentation of observed behavior.
  • Submit consistent daily QA reports and feedback forms to support tracking and product improvement.
  • Identify, document, and escalate technical issues or inconsistencies encountered during testing.
  • Follow detailed test instructions and ensure high accuracy, completeness, and compliance with QA standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to project guidelines throughout the engagement period.
Requirements:
  • Native or expert-level proficiency in American English (en_us).
  • Experience or strong familiarity with QA testing, mobile application testing, or structured task execution environments.
  • Must own and actively use a qualifying Google Pixel device (Pixel 9 or newer models).
  • Comfortable installing and using mobile applications that generate frequent notifications.
  • Ability to perform consistent daily tasks for 14 consecutive days (10-15 minutes per day).
  • Reliable internet connection and strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to complete a language and/or task-based assessment during the application process.
  • Ability to follow structured instructions and maintain high-quality output in a remote setup.
