Ignite is seeking an entry level Program Control Analyst to assist in Program Financial Management. The Program Control Analyst will perform and provide detailed project analysis as well as participate in the planning, tracking, and reporting on various contract types. Applicant should understand basic accrual and cost accounting methodologies and will also prepare and deliver customer report deliverables per the contract terms and conditions. The candidate should be detail driven, dependable, and self-motivated.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities include significant interface and support with Contracts, Programs, and Accounting Departments. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Update Contracts in Costpoint- Update Contract Work Force with Changes
  • Maintain the Ignite timekeeping & hour budget tool.
  • Develop, monitor, track, and report the accuracy of existing programs including deliverables, payment schedules, period of performance, and costs.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets on contracts and task orders.
  • Notify management of potential at-risk scenarios.
  • Provides Management with reports on status and profitability.
  • Review and assist with contract invoices per contract schedules.
  • Perform cost analysis and estimates on pricing for proposal efforts.
  • Review RFPs and provide any pricing-related questions for submittal to the customer.
  • Provide contract close-out reviews.
  • Maintain performance information to and on consultants.
  • Maintains Work Authorizations
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Knowledge of basic program management concepts (budgets, estimate to complete, project schedules, workplans etc.).
  • Knowledge of project management scheduling and control account planning concepts.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Strong quantitative/mathematical foundation to support the analytical requirements of the position.
