Job Description:
At Regions, the Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst is responsible for all areas of financial and management reporting, planning and analysis.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Develops, updates, and maintains complex models to budget, forecast, analyze, and report financial data
  • Develops and performs monthly detailed financial analysis including advanced financial modeling and monitoring business results and impact to bottom line
  • Focuses on resolution of complex problems where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines, or processes
  • Maintains full ownership for one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products, and may also be considered analytical or procedural expert
  • Drives the provision of timely, accurate, and reliable financial management information and the running and enhancement of reporting systems which facilitate the production of this management information
  • Completes regular and ad-hoc reporting and business reviews as well as the preparation of key presentations and special projects as required
  • Prepares and presents financial analysis to influence management decisions
  • May supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees but will not typically have formal management role

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a directly related field
  • Five (5) years of experience with management reporting or financial analysis

Preferences
  • Experience with Essbase Financial Reporting tool or similar
  • Experience with Bank Planning and Reporting

The Project Analyst supports the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects by providing data-driven insights, tracking performance, and enhancing project controls. This role works closely with project managers, finance, and cross-functional teams to analyze project metrics, identify risks, and ensure projects stay aligned with schedules, budgets, and objectives.

This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
