Job description

Job Title

Working Hours: Day shift, 6:00 a.m. โ€“ 2:00 p.m. Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Main Functions
  • Perform functional testing and failure analysis on non-conforming products in both production and service environments.
  • Accurately record test results manually or electronically and report recurring issues related to processes, materials, or equipment.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Engineering Systems and IT Equipment
  • Support and maintain engineering systems and IT tools used across all production phases.
  • Perform regular inspections, including virus control and system integrity checks.
  • Participate in the build-out, modification, or upgrade of IT and engineering infrastructure.
Test Systems and Test Stations
  • Conduct periodic inspections and maintenance of test systems, infrastructure, and tools used throughout production.
  • Assist in the setup, modification, and optimization of test stations and test environments.
Teamwork
  • Work as part of the engineering team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, both internally and externally.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper handling of products during testing, failure analysis, and repair.
  • Confirm that only products meeting quality standards are released.
  • Coordinate with the group leader and/or direct supervisor on testing and repair sequences to meet production targets.
  • Recognize the importance of internal and external customers and contribute to delivering high-quality products and services.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Ensure workstations are clean at shift handover, with special attention to test and failure-analysis equipment requiring specific care.
  • Maintain test infrastructure and selected IT-related systems, including network cabling, test stations, input devices, test tools, and hipot testers.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels of spare parts and consumables.
  • Prepare end-of-shift reports documenting all relevant activities, findings, and issues.
  • Maintain a positive, flexible, and cooperative attitude in support of team objectives.
  • Wear required protective equipment in accordance with workplace policies (e.g., ESD clothing, safety glasses, ear protection).
  • Arrive on time and be fully prepared to begin work at the start of each shift.
  • Perform overtime as required in accordance with the Labor Code and employer directives.
