Job description

What will you be doing?
Subsea 7 has summer internship positions for engineering students to join us in our Houston, TX office. This will be a 10-week program during the summer that provides a great opportunity to come and work with us; learn about what we do and what it means to work for Subsea 7. The prospective interns should apply for the specific work tasks that most suit their interests/career goals.
The Project Engineer Intern will be integrating into one or more project teams to provide engineering support on installation, mobilization, and demobilization activities. This intern position will involve planning scopes in the office but also working on site mobilizing offshore supply vessel with equipment to go offshore. There may also be opportunities to work offshore on Subsea 7's construction vessels on live projects.
What experience would we like you to have?
  • Become familiar with Subsea 7 BMS documents related to installation aids.
  • Become familiar with applicable industry codes and standards.
  • Mobilization Procedure Task Plan and Checklist generation
  • Lift Planning
