Entry Level Production (SPS Companies - Fire Protection Division)

SPS Companies Fire Protection Division (SPS Fire) is currently seeking an individual to fill an Entry Level Production role at our Howells, NE location. The starting wage is $16.00 with a yearly review. Training is provided, no previous fabrication experience is required. A strong mechanical aptitude and computer experience are needed. Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Job Description Overview

  • Operate pipe cutter/groover/threaders
  • Once trained must be able to work independently and efficiently
  • Accurately read, measure and cut pipe based on customer specified cut sheet
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work space
  • Other duties as assigned
    • Reports to the Production Manager

About SPS Companies - Fire Protection Division (SPS Fire)

SPS Fire provides premier fire protection products and fabrication. Our Howells location is one of six branches within the Fire Protection division of SPS companies, Inc. In addition to fire protection, SPS has a plumbing/HVAC division, and a roofing and sheet metal division.

This is a full-time position. Hours will be 7am – 5:00pm Monday through Thursday and 7:00am -11:00am Friday. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, life, AD&D, long-term and short-term disability insurance. SPS companies, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
