PrintOvations, an Omaha based print and promotional products company currently has an opening for a Production Artist. As a provider of screen printed and embroidered apparel, signage, print and promotional products, we are Omaha's one-stop marketing shop, equipped to help our customers with their brand awareness and marketing campaigns.

Job Description
Primary responsibilities and qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following:
โ€ข Typeset & print design of customer collateral & promotional material
โ€ข Produces layouts based upon external and internal requests or pre-established campaign or graphic
standard system
โ€ข Performs pre-press responsibilities to include but not limited to scaling, cropping, retouching, repositioning, pre-flighting, optimizing and packaging final files and preparing for print, distribution and archival.
โ€ข Ensures accuracy of work and files, quality checks and constantly looking to improve the quality of work
and standards
โ€ข Archives assets properly and manages shared digital assets
โ€ข Manages project workload and deadlines
โ€ข Communicates with customers and internal staff
โ€ข Follows a layout to place computer generated vinyl or full-color graphic images on a pre-determined substrate
or medium
โ€ข Prepares substrates for application which may include cutting, laminating, cleaning and maintaining the substrates for vinyl application
โ€ข Weeds excess vinyl from computer cut images
โ€ข Performs quality assurance measures pre- and post-production
โ€ข Performs finishing operations such as laminating, encapsulating and/or mounting of printed pieces
โ€ข Reports inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the Owner
โ€ข Works on different projects simultaneously
โ€ข Performs routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary
โ€ข Loads materials on/into printer and/or laminator which may require some heavy lifting
โ€ข Cutting, weeding and applying vinyl for heat press requests
โ€ข Internal print design for marketing department
โ€ข Graphic work for web or social media
โ€ข Detail oriented with an ability to multi-task
โ€ข Other job related duties or projects as assigned
Qualifications
โ€ข Strong verbal and written communications skills
โ€ข Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite CS5 or higher (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop & Acrobat Pro)
โ€ข Excellent writing and editing skills and a keen eye for details
โ€ข Provide a portfolio of work and speak to the creative, technical and production management skills
โ€ข Ability to work full-time in office between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
โ€ข Follows all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
