Gusmer Enterprises, a family-owned manufacturer of filtration products, is hiring for entry level production roles with paid training at a rate of $23.63 per hour! Once fully trained the pay range may be up $28.35 per hour with shift differential. These are Union positions with overtime available. We offer low deductible health insurance plans, 401 K with employer matching, upfront vacation, and many more benefits! Depending on manufacturing needs successful candidates will be assigned by management to work as a Material Convertor or Molder Operator.

Material Converters and Molder Operators

Perform job duties in accordance with all International Organization for Standardization (ISO) procedures.

Accurately complete all paperwork to meet ISO requirements along with additional documentation and computer data entry.

Maintain a clean organized workstation to meet ISO and customer audit requirements while keeping surroundings clear of contaminants.

Material Converters:

Are responsible for the die cutting, inspection, packaging, labeling, and palletizing of finished filtration products, along with clean-up of production equipment.

Die cut, inspect, package, palletize, and label finished goods while ensuring work area is clean, safe, and free of mechanical problems.

Communicate with co-workers, crew leaders, and lab personnel.

Molder Operators:

Are responsible for making components and assembling filter cells into manufactured products called Devices.

Minimize down time by proactively completing set up duties in preparation for grade changes. Adjust injection molders, vibration welders, test equipment, and label printers within set parameters.

Conduct basic quality checks on products before they are moved to packing.

Other Duties

Notifies Maintenance Department of equipment malfunctions as required.

Participates in continuous improvement activities as needed.

Performs other Material Convertor/Molder Operator duties as assigned.

Experience and Education Requirements

Highschool Diploma/GED required.

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.

Ability to use Aurora, Mattec, Paycom, other computer programs, and technology.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands listed are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This position typically functions in a production environment. There will be exposure to moderate noise levels, fumes, dust, chemicals, heat/cold, and allergens especially in the production environment.
