Entry Level Accountant
Location: Westlake, Ohio
Are you a recent graduate looking to turn your accounting degree into real-world experience? We're looking for a motivated Entry Level Accountant who is eager to learn, grow, and build a strong foundation in a collaborative and supportive environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to month-end close, financial reporting, and core accounting processes while working alongside experienced professionals who are invested in your development.
What You'll Do
As an Entry Level Accountant, you'll be involved in a variety of key accounting functions, with training and mentorship every step of the way:
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts and supporting schedules
  • Support preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Help track and reconcile fixed assets, accruals, and prepaids
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Participate in audit preparation and financial documentation
  • Collaborate with team members across accounting and finance
  • Take part in process improvement and special projects
What We're Looking For
We're not expecting years of experience, however, experience is a plus. We're really just looking for potential, attitude, and eagerness to learn:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Internship, classroom projects, or part-time accounting experience is a plus (not required)
  • Basic understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Excel (formulas, data organization)
  • Excellent communication and willingness to ask questions
