Position Summary

The Sales Representative plays a critical role in driving revenue growth for Universal Electrical Service by developing new business opportunities and managing the full sales lifecycleโ€”from lead generation through project closing. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, relationship-focused, and eager to learn the commercial and industrial construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage a strong, active sales pipeline

  • Develop and maintain relationships within commercial and industrial construction markets
  • Execute and continuously improve lead generation strategies
  • Manage the full sales process, including project negotiations and closing opportunities
  • Prepare and submit proposals, bids, estimates, and customer documentation in a timely manner
  • Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry functions to represent the company
  • Participate in site visits, bid meetings, and project scoping activities, including inspecting and photographing job sites
  • Solicit, review, and analyze project documents, drawings, and specifications
  • Follow up on outstanding RFPs, proposals, and estimates
  • Achieve or exceed monthly sales activity and revenue goals within assigned territories
