YOUR LIFE AS A MEDICATION TECHNICIAN / CAREGIVING ATTENDANT
This full-time position typically works five 8-hour shifts. We currently have all shifts available: AM, PM, and NOC!
As an entry-level Medication Technician / Caregiving Attendant, you ensure that all medication orders are in the system and given to our senior care residents. You administer all medications ordered by the physician. These may include oral medications, inhalers, eye drops, eardrops, and external topical medications. You also provide caregiving services about 10% of the time, making sure to offer dignity and respect. At times, residents will request assistance with personal care needs, including bathing, applying first-aid, or applying creams. You're always happy to lend a helping hand.
With attention to detail, you accurately document medical services delivered to residents as well as any significant changes in condition. You communicate with family members and appropriate staff in regards to personal care plans in place. You love building relationships with our senior care residents, and you feel good knowing you're making a difference!
