We’re hiring a full-time Entry-Level Event Assistant to join our growing team, working face-to-face with customers at live events, retail pop-ups, brand activations, and promotional campaigns.

This is a people-focused, customer engagement and sales role where you’ll build conversations, represent products or services, and support customers through real-time purchasing decisions in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, communication, and working in active environments:

  • Adapting your approach based on customer behaviour, using emotional intelligence, active listening, and adaptability
  • Supporting face-to-face sales, lead generation, and customer acquisition in real time
  • Working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, staying proactive throughout the day
  • Collaborating with a team and sharing feedback on customer responses, engagement, and performance
  • Using basic reporting or CRM tools (training provided) to track activity and results

  • Entry-level marketing, promotions, events, or brand activation experience
  • University students or graduates with experience as a student ambassador, campus rep, or society volunteer
  • Roles involving public speaking, group work, fundraising, canvassing, or community engagement
  • Experience in retail associate, call centre, reception, or front-of-house roles

Key attributes:

  • Confident, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with new people
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills
  • Motivated, proactive, and comfortable working towards goals or targets
  • Adaptable and able to think on your feet in busy environments
  • Interest in developing skills in sales, marketing, customer acquisition, and brand representation
  • Available full-time and able to work onsite

What You’ll Get

  • Full training provided (no direct sales experience required)
  • Coaching and ongoing support in sales, customer engagement, and communication skills
  • Experience in events, experiential marketing, and face-to-face sales campaigns
  • Clear progression opportunities based on performance
  • A social, active, and team-oriented working environment
