Both roles are essential in the industry, but they differ mainly in experience level and training status.

How easy is it to become a plasterer?

Becoming an entry-level plasterer typically involves completing a relevant apprenticeship or training program, which can take from one to three years. Basic skills in mixing materials, surface preparation, and working with tools are essential, and some employers may require a high school diploma or equivalent. Certification or licensing is generally not mandatory but can improve job prospects.

Most jobs paying that much weekly income without a degree are in sales, entrepreneurship, or skilled trades with significant experience.

What is the hourly rate for plasterers?
