Position Summary:
The Compliance Risk Management Clerical Assistant provides temporary clerical and administrative support to the Compliance and Risk Management Department. This position assists with data entry, document preparation, record organization, filing, and maintaining accurate and confidential compliance-related records. The Clerical Assistant could also support department audits, compliance documentation, tracking activities, and other administrative projects as needed.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working with confidential information. This is an entry-level position suited for an individual who can work independently, follow established procedures, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accuracy in a high-volume healthcare environment. This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension based on department needs and performance.
Requirements
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
Experience:
1-3 years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Assistant or Administrate Assistant role required.
Job Knowledge:
Solid understanding/experience with human resources and payroll processes, benefit & compensation administration, recruitment & onboarding processes, handling employee relations issues, organizational planning & development, FMLA/leave administration, employment law compliance (FLSA, ADEA, EEO, ADA, FMLA etc.), performance management, employee development, corrective action, employee investigations, regulatory reporting.
Skills:
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc.). Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. High level of interpersonal skills and professionalism to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn to use the organizations Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and talent management systems.
