Job description

General Summary

Provides technical and functional skills to WellSpan Health's system needs for ERP reports. The primarily responsibility of this role is full life cycle reporting, from requirements gathering, development, maintenance through end-user training on the tools to deliver the content. Serves as a subject matter expert on a team of developers championing a standard reporting delivery model encompassing development, documentation, and training across WellSpan's Health ERP system. 

Qualifications
Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or related field. Required
  • Master's Degree In Business Administration, Data Science, or related field. Preferred

Work Experience:

  • 1 year Experience reporting within Oracle Fusion Cloud, utilizing Oracle BIP, OTBI, and/or FRS. Required

Courses and Training:

  • One or more certifications in Oracle ERP reporting products. Upon Hire Preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in SQL, including writing and troubleshooting complex queries against relational databases
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion subject areas and data structures (Core HR, Recruiting, Talent, GL, AP, and/or Projects preferred)
  • Exposure to Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle Fusion Cloud reports and dashboards, including data models, reports, and templates, using BIP, OTBI, FDI, and FRS, based on business requirements
  • Create, modify, and support SQL queries and data extracts to meet reporting and analytical needs
  • Utilize Oracle Fusion subject areas and data structures to build accurate, efficient reports that combine data across multiple modules
  • Support reporting requirements across Oracle Fusion ERP applications, primarily across HCM and Finance, with an initial focus in areas such as Core HR, Recruiting, Talent, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Projects
  • Work directly with business users to gather requirements, clarify reporting needs, and deliver timely solutions
  • Troubleshoot report errors, data discrepancies, performance issues, and security-related reporting concerns
  • Assist with administration and maintenance of reporting catalogs, scheduling, bursting, and report security
  • Support Oracle quarterly update testing to ensure reports and analytics continue to function as expected
  • Maintain documentation for report designs, data sources, business requirements, and development standards
  • Participate in report validation, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities
  • Evaluate report enhancement requests and help identify the most effective reporting solution
  • Assist in educating users on available Oracle Fusion reporting tools and capabilities
  • Follow established development standards, change management procedures, and documentation requirements
