Job description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce parts according to blueprints and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC lathes and/or mills and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines (lathe, mill, or both) to produce metal or plastic components

    • -
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders  Load raw materials and tooling into machinesMonitor machine operation to ensure accuracy and efficiency  Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)

Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain part specifications  Complete required documentation and production reports  Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning

  • Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals

  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred

  • 1–2 years of experience operating CNC machinery (or strong mechanical aptitude for entry-level candidates)

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and measuring instrumentsBasic understanding of CNC programming is a plus
