We are currently looking for a Production Associate - Operator Helper to join our production team to support our variety of customers. If you meet the qualifications and want to make a difference in a fast-paced environment with a company large enough to offer you room to grow but not so large you become "just a number", and who has a large focus on safety and success, Spartech might be the ideal company for you!
Requirements
  • Be able to do simple arithmetic.
  • Read micrometer and scale.
  • Have good knowledge of material.
  • Check each sheet or roll, place in box or on skid, as the case may be, and if necessary, band up ready for shipment.
  • Help operator clean dies, grinder or any other equipment necessary to keep machine in operation.
  • Help change rolls, dies, and perform minor maintenance.
  • Keep general work area neat, clean, and in an orderly fashion.
  • Regrind scrap material when needed.
  • Be able to place material in hoppers, set die lips, temperatures, and obtain good quality sheet within reasonable time under close supervision.
  • Remove all trash, skids, etc. from immediate work area.
