What you will enjoy doing*
  • In this role you will provide leadership and direction for a team of entry-level production employees to ensure customer demand is met
  • Coordinate production activities to support daily distribution requirements, including local delivery routes and shuttle operations
  • You will lead reliability, compliance, quality, and safety initiatives to meet government and environmental regulations Ensure team members are trained and committed to Linde Safety and Quality systems, coordinating training with the Compliance Manager
  • Monitor production outputs and staffing levels to maintain efficiency, anticipate problems, and develop contingency plans
  • Responsible for communicating and collaborating with first shift counterpart to ensure smooth operations and efffective shift handoffs
  • Identify operational issues and lead improvement initiativesrelated to production processes, shift schedules, and training, reporting activities to plant management
  • You will help oversee inventory levels, manage equipment and product quality issues, and support 5S and Lean Projects to reduce operating costs through Operational Excellence strategies

What makes you great
  • You msut have a high school diploma or GED; bachelor degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial plant environment with at least 2 years of leading and developing a team
  • You should have experience working in, and/or managing within a union environment is strongly preferred
