Job description

Class C Driver – Local Delivery

Location: Anchorage, AK 99515
Pay: $30–$31 per hour
Job Type: Temp driver to Potential for Permanent Hire


We are seeking a reliable and experienced Box Truck Class C Driver to join our team for a short-term contractor assignment with the potential to transition into a permanent position.

This is a local delivery route, with deliveries generally within approximately 20 miles of the distribution center. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, customer-oriented, and comfortable handling both driving and physical delivery responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class C License | Box Truck on local delivery routes
  • Must have a DOT MED card
  • Load, secure, and inspect products before departure
  • Drive to multiple customer locations throughout the route
  • Safely unload and deliver products to customers
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding routes, deliveries, and any issues
  • Maintain required driving and delivery logs
  • Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Follow all applicable safety regulations and company procedures

Qualifications

  • Valid Class C License
  • Must have a DOT Med Card
  • Safe driving record and strong commitment to safety
  • Ability to safely load, secure, unload, and deliver products
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Professional communication and customer-service skills
  • Ability to work independently while staying in communication with dispatch
