We are seeking an Operations Assistant to join our team in the Fairfield office. This position is on site.


Responsibilities


The Operations Assistant role provides an introduction to the legal field and all aspects of administrative operations. This is a great entry level position for someone who is looking to grow and develop office skills within the legal field.


The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks. Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Process and distribute of mail and other communications.
  • Create and update case records.
  • Save all e-filing notices from various local courts.
  • Send out mail and packages.
  • Assist legal teams as well as other departments within the firm.
  • Various projects related to firm operations.
  • Reception duties.
Requirements:
  • Experience as an office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Self-starter
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office
