Job description

PRODUCTION – ENTRY LEVEL SWING SHIFT
Automation Personnel Services is looking for Production Workers for a company based in Belk, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to further your knowledge in the manufacturing field!

Pay Rate 
$17.50 per hour

Schedule and Hours 
Rotating Schedule every four weeks
Monday through Friday, 5 45 am to 5 45 pm
Sunday through Friday, 5 45 pm to 5 45 am

Production – Entry Level Swing Shift Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist with keeping a steady flow of lumber throughout the mill by straightening lumber cross-ups using a pike pole, as necessary. 
• Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Transport materials to designated locations within the facility, maintaining inventory accuracy and organization.
• Closely follow safety regulations and guidelines at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.
• Responsible for completing clean-up (cleaning, shoveling, blowing air hoses, picking up trash, painting, etc.) of regularly assigned area.

Production – Entry Level Swing Shift Qualifications and Requirements 
• Prior manufacturing/warehouse/lumber operations experience preferred.
• Able and willing to work in varying seasonal climate conditions. Not climate controlled.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety.
• Walking, standing, climbing, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent attendance record.
