 The Opportunity:

LGEAI is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Analyst I to join our Service Parts and Logistics teams within a dynamic global network. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals eager to apply analytical skills to real-world business challenges. You'll collect and interpret logistics data, build models and dashboards, and deliver insights that drive cost efficiency, service excellence, and operational improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Collect, clean, and validate logistics and transportation data, including shipments, freight rates, carrier performance, inventory levels, and lead times.
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based models and dashboards to support cost analysis, route and mode evaluations, and scenario planning.
  • Support network optimization initiatives such as SLA management, consolidation, and capacity planning by providing data inputs and basic modeling.
  • Conduct root-cause analyses of service issues and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Prepare concise slide decks, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights to managers and operations teams.
  • Monitor KPIs including freight spend, error rates, and cost per shipment, and identify trends or anomalies.
  • Develop forecast simulations to support planning and decision-making.
  • Support ad-hoc analyses and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain, business analytics, or consulting, with internships potentially counting toward experience.
  • Exposure to import or domestic shipping operations is a plus.
  • Some exposure to project management tools or methodologies is beneficial.
  • Professional logistics certifications (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) or progress towards are preferred but not required.
  • Solid working knowledge of Excel, including familiarity with pivot tables and basic data modeling.
  • Basic understanding of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is beneficial.
  • Awareness of logistics-specific software such as TMS or WMS is a plus.
