Entry Level Office Clerk/Receptionist for a Long-Term Care Pharmacy

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Entry Level Office Clerk to join our team at Geriscript, a fast-growing Long-Term Care pharmacy in Pompton Plains, NJ. As an Entry Level Office Clerk, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our pharmacy team, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities. Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls, and respond to emails and messages in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records, both electronic and paper-based
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and scanning documents
  • Prepare and distribute mail, packages, and reports
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work every Saturday and Sunday
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in an administrative role
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift, Wednesday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Day shift with 30-minute lunch break
