Technical Support Associate- Part-Time


Job Summary
The Technical Support Associate reports directly to the IT Technician II providing technical assistance for the IT Team with ensuring that computers, software, systems, and other technology resources operate effectively. This is an entry-level position with entry-level troubleshooting of technical issues to assist with the workforce's ability for workflow technical efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and timely technical in-person support for onsite computer, phone, email, or ticket-based requests.
  • Assist with entry level tasks such as set up of computers, monitors, peripherals and other technical issues as well as troubleshooting minor ticket issues.
  • Escalate complex or recurring issues to appropriate technical resources.
  • Assist with technology inventory and asset tracking.
  • Adhere to all established policies and procedures per the company handbook.
  • Follow all security, privacy, and technology procedures.
  • Stay current with commonly used software, systems, and workplace technology.
  • Complete CompTIA Network and Security+

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical education or certification is a plus.
  • CompTIA Network+ and Security+ Certificate, a plus (plan to complete timely once hired)
  • One year of customer service, technical support, or computer-related experience, preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of computers, operating systems, networking, and common business applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
