ARSIEM is currently looking for Cyberspace Networking Operations (CNO) Instructors (Level 2) to deliver Cyberspace Operations (CO) training to Department of Defense personnel. The position will support one of our Government clients in Pensacola, FL.
Responsibilities
  • Perform duties as CO Instructor for Networking by delivering highly technical training in a military training environment consisting of lectures, labs, exercises and other delivery methods.
  • Assist with developing CO training curriculum (lecture content, student/instructor guides, exams, exercises, simulations, etc.).

Minimum Qualifications
  • All candidates must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Candidates shall provide classroom instruction that teaches assigned students in the manner described in the course Program of Instruction.
  • Candidates shall conduct practical exercises in a laboratory environment, conduct student study hall periods and provide tutoring/remedial instruction for up to twenty students per class.
  • All candidates must possess the ability to incorporate/impart technical knowledge into their training delivery.
  • Assess student knowledge, skills and abilities to gauge student proficiency in topic area.
  • Deliver instruction via interactive synchronous and asynchronous learning activities.
  • Review and analyze training materials and recommend changes.
  • Bachelor's Degree plus two (2) years of experience in Cyberspace Operations (CO). Experience in CO is defined as experience in Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO), and/or Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO).
  • In lieu of degree, four (4) years of experience in Cyberspace Operations (CO).
  • Experience in adult learning with emphasis on providing instruction to large classes.

Required Advanced Knowledge
  • OSI Model and TCP/IP protocol suite (Advanced Level)
  • IPV4 and IPV6 (Advanced Level)
  • Subnetting, Supernetting, and Variable Length Subnet Masking (Advanced Level)

Required Intermediate Knowledge
  • Functionality of common application layer protocols and services
  • DHCP
  • DNS
  • FTP
  • HTTP
  • TFTP
  • SNMP
  • Routing and Switching methodologies
  • Network Address Translation
  • Basic Protocol Analysis of IP, TCP, and UDP headers
  • VPNs and VLANs
  • Experience configuring networks with routers and switches, to include VLANs
  • Network traffic flow, and loop avoidance (Advanced Level)
  • Static routes and dynamic routing protocols to include OSPF
  • Protocol analysis w/ tools such as Wireshark
  • Understanding network attacks and defense
  • Writing router Access Control Lists (ACLs)

Preferred Qualifications
  • US Military instructor certification or designation is highly desirable (e.g., teaching certificate, certified professional instructor, master training specialist, adjunct faculty certification, etc.).
  • DoDD 8140.01/DoD8570.01-M Level II certifications are desired, but not required.
  • Network+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent is desired

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
Candidate Referral: Do you know someone who would be GREAT at this role? If you do, ARSIEM has a way for you to earn a bonus through our referral program for persons presenting NEW (not in our resume database) candidates who are successfully placed on one of our projects. The bonus for this position is $3,500, and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we place within 12 months of referral. The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches 6 months of employment.
