Job Description:

KFSN-TV/ABC30 Action News, the ABC Owned Station in Central California, delivers top-rated news coverage across television, digital, social, and streaming platforms. The team is committed to impactful storytelling, breaking news, and community engagement.

We're looking for an outstanding Sports Anchor/Reporter who excels at covering local sports from the anchor desk and out in the field. This role requires a highly organized and proactive self-starter who can help guide the station's coverage of high school, college, and professional sports. The successful candidate must be able to plan, shoot, write, and edit their own stories and produce their own sportscasts. They must collaborate closely with KFSN-TV/ABC30's other sports anchor to break big sports stories and ensure all major events are covered.

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between SAG-AFTRA and KFSN-TV. The pay rate for this role in Fresno, California is $28.85 to $33.65 per hour.The pay rate actually offered may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The role also has potential for additional compensation for overtime and early morning/overnight shifts.
