Position Summary
The FP&A Analyst - Marketing will serve as a key partner to the Marketing FP&A function, supporting financial planning, forecasting, and performance analytics across marketing channels. This role will work closely with the Director of Marketing FP&A and cross-functional stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making, improve marketing efficiency, and enhance financial visibility across the funnel.
This position is highly analytical and execution-oriented, with a strong focus on financial modeling, performance tracking, and continuous process improvement through automation and simplification.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support weekly forecasts, monthly pacing, and annual planning (AOP) processes for marketing expenses, lead generation, and volume drivers
  • Build and maintain financial models linking marketing investment to volume, revenue, and contribution margin
  • Analyze marketing performance across channels (Digital, Offline) utilizing various conversion metrics and contribution margin profitability
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reporting packages highlighting trends, variances, and key insights for leadership
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to improve visibility into marketing funnel performance and efficient metrics
  • Maintain and enhance financial models, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and alignment with evolving business needs
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and automate reporting and forecasting processes
  • Support month-end close activities, including variance analysis between actuals, forecast, and plan
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on marketing performance, channel mix optimization, and investment decisions
  • Support business cases for new initiatives, vendor evaluations, and efficiency improvement projects

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years in financial analysis, consulting, strategic/marketing finance, or related field
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
  • Strong quantitative and analytical competency, Excel skills are a must
  • Familiarity with marketing metrics (CPL, conversion rates, ROI/ROAS) preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite and Tableau are a plus
