Job description

As a Full-Time Preschool Teacher, you will foster a nurturing and educational environment for young learners, typically managing a class size of 10-15 students. Your role involves designing and implementing lesson plans aligned with State Early Learning Standards, assessing student progress through observations, anecdotal records, and portfolio assessments. You will collaborate closely with support staff including a speech therapist and a teacher assistant to ensure comprehensive developmental support for each child. We strongly believe that our teachers are doing ministry, so we require a pastoral reference and regular church attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage classroom environment to promote a positive learning atmosphere
  • Plan and deliver lessons aligned with State Early Learning Standards
