Overview

The Project Engineer maintains and updates all project documents and processes. Makes routine scheduling and budgetary decisions for the completion of assigned projects under project supervision.


Responsibilities

  • Update the project progress log and submit internal request forms.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
  • Collaborate with project teams to monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues.
  • Support in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including contracts, budgets, and reports.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Participate in on-site visits to assess project status and address any on-site challenges.
  • Assist in the procurement process by obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
  • Assist in the implementation of project management best practices and process improvements.
  • Successfully runs 5 projects totaling $250,000 or more at a time.


Qualifications

  • Associate degree or 1-2 years of related experience.
