What are entry level metal casting jobs?

Entry level metal casting jobs involve assisting in the process of shaping molten metal into specific forms using molds. Workers in these positions typically help prepare molds, pour or oversee the pouring of molten metal, and monitor the cooling and finishing of cast products. These roles require attention to safety, willingness to learn on the job, and basic physical ability, but usually do not require prior experience. Entry level workers often receive training in safety procedures, equipment handling, and quality control. Over time, they can advance to more specialized or supervisory positions within foundries or manufacturing plants.
