Summary:
leading independent service organization is seeking a skilled and motivated Imaging Engineer to join their expanding team, supporting healthcare facilities across the North East region. This field-based role involves the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of advanced medical imaging systems, including SPECT and Nuclear Medicine equipment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining system performance, ensuring imaging equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who enjoys travel, technical challenges, and delivering exceptional service in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Service & Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on imaging systems (SPECT, Nuclear Medicine, and related modalities).
Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently while maintaining detailed service and compliance documentation.
Installation & Calibration: Install and configure imaging systems to manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards.
Customer Communication: Build strong relationships with clinical and technical staff through professional, responsive communication.
Inventory & Logistics: Manage spare parts inventory and ensure replacement components meet functionality and compliance requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Proven experience servicing medical imaging systems (preferably SPECT/Nuclear Medicine)
Strong electronics and mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot down to the component level.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and travel frequently throughout the North East region.
Valid U.S. driver's license and authorization to work in the United States.
