Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic maintenance services including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, battery service, wiper blades, bulbs, and fluid top-offs.
  • Complete entry-level inspections and document findings clearly.
  • Mount, balance, and repair tires; set and verify tire pressures and torque specs.
  • Assist senior technicians with light repairs and teardown/setup tasks.
  • Move vehicles safely and maintain clean, organized work areas.
  • Use basic scan tools to retrieve codes under guidance.
  • Follow repair orders, timekeeping, and parts procedures accurately.
  • Adhere to all safety, environmental, and PPE standards.
  • Communicate with service advisors and teammates regarding status and needs.
  • Support shop supply and tool inventory management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support shop efficiency.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; automotive coursework preferred.
  • 0–2 years of dealership or shop experience (internship/co-op acceptable).
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and routine maintenance.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools, lifts, tire machines, and scan tools under supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to follow repair documentation, safety procedures, and timekeeping standards.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/bend for long periods, and work in variable conditions.
