Entry-level medical coders transfer healthcare services and claims into universal medical codes for insurance reimbursement purposes. To become an entry-level medical coder, you must have excellent attention to detail and a solid base knowledge of medical terminology, procedure and visit authorizations, and insurance billing procedures. While not required, some employers prefer entry-level medical coders to have an associate degree in medical coding or the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential. Summary Statement
This describes entry-level equipment operator work. This level is involved in learning department rules, regulations, and policies concerning operation of equipment, proper handling of materials, and environmental issues as related to the industry. Work is performed under close direction of a technical superior.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThis position must be available to work overtime as needed, and during storm events and other emergency events on short notice, and in some cases, no advance notice. Essential Functions

Job Requirements
\r\nJob Requirements for Equipment Operator I\r\nApplicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:\r\n\r\n\r\n Knowledge of preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment which includes lubricating, cleaning, and servicing. \r\n Knowledge of operating a variety of equipment used in repair, maintenance, and development of roads, grounds, or structures such as jack hammers, power saws, air compressors, or hydraulic post drivers. \r\n Knowledge of operating motorized equipment used for groundskeeping, snow removal, or hauling materials. \r\n Possession of a valid Driver's License (not suspended, revoked or cancelled, or disqualified from driving). \r\n\r\n
