Job description

We are seeking a medical administrative assistant to become a part of our team! We are a two physician allergy and immunology practice in West Los Angeles. You will perform medical triage and scheduling and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle patient care duties in a timely manner
  • Perform routine tasks including patient scheduling medical triage preparation and faxing of medical documents to referring physicians and medical billing
  • Communicate with insurance companies for medication prior authorizations.
  • Relay patient phone concerns and emails to the physicians and/or medical staff in a timely and thoughtful manner

​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant in a medical office.
  • Allergy and immunology or other related fields preferred
  • Strong computer skills including EHR and Microsoft Excel competency
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
