*Note: This position is an office role, and you must be able to report in-person to Ada on Mondays through Thursdays, with Friday as a remote option

What we’re looking for

Amway is looking for a highly organized and collaborative PR Analyst and Sponsorships Activation Coordinator who will play a critical supporting role in the company’s global public relations and sponsorship activation efforts by serving as the primary owner of the media monitoring platform and daily media analysis, supporting core PR needs, and help with the day-to-day management of Amway's sponsorships approach.

This individual will be responsible for monitoring news and social media coverage, identifying key trends and potential issues, developing regular reports, and supporting core PR activities such as writing press releases, talking points and supporting key PR activations. This person will also support the execution of the Amway's corporate sponsorship strategy by managing day‑to‑day activation needs and working closely with the Sponsorship Lead, who develops overall strategy and direction. This entry‑level role plays a key part in bringing sponsorships to life internally and externally by coordinating deliverables, timelines, communications and other materials. They will also maintain relationships with our sponsored partners.

As a global organization, this person will help our team provide foundational PR and sponsorship support to global affiliate teams as well as our headquarters team.

This position is ideal for a strong communicator and writer with entry-level PR experience, someone detail-oriented, and highly collaborative. Someone with strong analytical skills, sound news judgment, and an interest in corporate reputation, PR, and sponsorships for brand benefit will do well in this role. This team carries a lot of responsibility at our large, global corporation and is expected to move quickly with effective results.

Key Responsibilities

Media Monitoring & Analysis

  • Serve as the primary administrator and daily user of the company’s media monitoring platform.
  • Monitor global media coverage, including traditional media, digital news, and social media channels, to identify relevant brand, issue, and industry conversations.
  • Quickly flag potential reputational risks, emerging issues, and high-impact coverage to PR and other key stakeholders.
  • Distill high volumes of content into clear, actionable insights for internal teams.

Reporting

  • Develop and maintain recurring reports (weekly, monthly, and ad hoc) that summarize media coverage, trends, sentiment, and key narratives.
  • Customize reports for different internal audiences.
  • Support campaign measurement and basic PR analytics, including share of voice, message pull-through, and coverage quality summaries.
  • Assist in post-campaign and post-issue analysis to inform future communications strategies.
  • Support the issues management team by tracking developing stories, stakeholder commentary, and external reactions related to emerging or active issues.
  • Maintain organized records of coverage and timeline summaries during issues or crisis situations.
  • Provide basic media monitoring reports and guidance to global affiliate teams as requested.
  • Assist with training materials or onboarding related to media monitoring tools and reporting standards.

PR & Corporate Communications Support

  • Assist with writing, editing, and coordinating press releases for company news, executive announcements, business milestones, and product launches, working closely with senior PR team member to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand messaging.
  • Conduct background research and compile information to support media pitches, press materials, FAQs, and briefing documents.
  • Help write spokesperson talking points for interviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, legal, issues management, and leadership communications) to support integrated communications efforts.
  • Support daily PR operations, including calendar tracking, content coordination, internal approvals, and documentation of PR activity.

Sponsorship Activation and Maintenance Support

  • Help ensure sponsorships are executed consistently, efficiently, and in alignment with our corporate sponsorship strategy.
  • Manage day‑to‑day activation needs, including bringing sponsorship strategies to life through coordination of events, content, branding, and promotional elements tied to sponsorship agreements.
  • Communicate sponsorships and sponsorship activation moments to key stakeholders across the company.
  • Help maintain relationships with our sponsored partners.
  • Support communication of the sponsorship strategy, framework and best practices to affiliate teams, helping enable alignment across markets.
  • Manage activation timelines, calendars, and checklists to ensure deliverables are met on time and aligned with contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (PR, brand, marketing, legal, procurement, and events) to execute sponsorship-related activities.
  • Support activation at sponsored events, including pre‑event planning, on‑site or virtual support, and post‑event follow‑up as needed.

 

Required qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of PR experience required with sponsorship experience as a bonus
  • Bachelor’s degree in PR or communications
  • Experience working with media monitoring platforms and news databases. Familiarity with basic PR measurement and analytics concepts.
  • Ability to travel domestically (1-2x / year) if needed
  • Ability to participate in evening or early morning calls to accommodate global affiliate markets (1-2x / month)
