Job description

Pay Rate: USD 18.00 /hr + $1 shift premium
Location: SAN DIEGO, CA 92123
Schedule Details: M - F (2:30pm - 11:00pm)
 
Seasonal: True temp role. Max 6 mos assignment. Overtime based on business need. Business provides all PPE needed: Safety shoes, high visibility vest, safety glasses, etc.
 
 
Responsibilities:
Efficiently performs set-up, running, and monitoring of any of the Slitting machines. Personnel will assist in the training and supervision of new operator trainees. Ensures that the machines are running on their shifts, are producing a quality product in an efficient manner. Assist in the packaging and moving of materials.
Qualifications:
1. Strong knowledge of math related to company processes and procedures.
2. Strong mechanical ability, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail in slitting procedures.
3. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skill as it relates to slitting procedures and company processes.
4. Beginning knowledge of other department’s procedures as it relates to film construction, winding techniques, shipping procedures and metallizing process.
5. Working knowledge of relevant customers and suppliers.
6. High school graduate. One or two years of college or four-year military service preferred.
