Job description

Pay: $23-$25/hr DOE Shift:2nd shift Status: Full-Time A growing precision machine shop in Costa Mesa is seeking entry-level Machine Operators to join a busy, high-demand precision manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and interested in building a long-term career in machining and manufacturing. Candidates do not need extensive machine operating experience.

The company is willing to train someone who is competent, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment. Prior inspection experience is a plus. Responsibilities: Operate production machinery, including lathes and other shop equipment Monitor and run multiple machines at once Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards Use basic measuring tools as needed Follow work instructions and shop procedures Maintain a steady workflow in a busy production environment Communicate any machine, quality, or production issues to leads/supervisors Follow all safety, quality, and ITAR compliance requirements Maintain a clean and organized work area Work without phone use on the production floor Requirements: Entry-level candidates are welcome Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced, active shop environment Comfortable standing, moving, and working with machinery throughout the shift Strong attention to detail Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Prior machine operation, inspection, or manufacturing experience is a plus Experience with calipers, micrometers, or basic part inspection is a plus Work Environment: This is a busy precision machining shop with steady production demands and limited downtime.
