POSITION SUMMARY

Headworks is seeking an Entry level Project Manager who will work under the supervision of a Senior Manager, assists in the planning, organization, control, integration and completion of multiple projects from shop drawing approval, manufacturing, shipment, installation to final sign-off. This position requires close coordination with engineering, procurement and manufacturing to assist in the management of a timely and cost effective project completion.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in the planning, organization, control, integration, execution and completion of multiple projects. This is to include, but not be limited to:
  • Preparation, review, and timely completion of all project submittals
  • Preparation, monitoring, and control of all project schedules and milestones
  • Review of appropriate manufacturing instructions and documentation
  • Review and approval of purchased materials
  • Preparation of Preliminary and Final O&M manual
  • Completion of final shop tests and acceptance
  • Work with Logistics on proper timely shipping of projects to site
  • Support Sr. Managers and Engineers to ensure timely completion of projects and consistent implementation of design modifications
  • Review design changes, specifications, and all documentation releases
  • Consistently monitor project expenditures to remain within established budgets
  • Provide in a timely manner interim and completion project reports
  • Assist in negotiating PO Terms and Conditions with supervisor

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 0-2 years of project management experience directing multiple projects
  • Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical or civil engineering
  • Work well under pressure with passion for excellence and customer-focused at all times
  • Highly computer literate - Excel and Word a must. AutoCAD and Solidworks skills is a plus
  • Ability to clearly communicate with customers and colleagues, both verbally and in writing
  • Familiarity with Water/Wastewater projects is a plus
  • Authorized to work in the United States of America mandatory
