ENTRY-LEVEL PARTS SALES & SHIPPING CLERK:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

In this role, you will learn to respond to customer needs for parts in person or by telephone at the branch. Every day you will learn to determine customer parts needs through the use of literature, computer programs, and parts knowledge, and how to recommend parts or services to the customer.

Every day, you will:

  • Maintain knowledge of products, services, and parts and the associated costs of each.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork on each transaction in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Respond to customers in person or by telephone whenever required and provide quotes or estimates for parts.
  • Process credits, make adjustments, and monitor for restocking charges on all parts sales completed.
  • Operate a forklift to handle pallets of product. (Forklift training is available.)

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Self-motivated, winning attitude, and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to perform at a high level in a fast pace and team-oriented environment.
  • Prior history with counter sales or parts inventory preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers by telephone and in person in an effort to sell company parts and other services.
  • Good computer skills and basic familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and various search engines.
  • Above-average organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
