JOB SUMMARY

This position identifies inconsistencies and formulate solutions to complex and ambiguous technical problems. Develop software designs according to architectures that meet defined product specifications. Propose solutions and technical direction for future development efforts for the Credit Union.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Experience developing web applications using frameworks (Spring MVC, ReactJS).
  2. Experience developing AI, ML, and NLP to integrate with more advanced systems.
  3. Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).
  4. Researching and analyzing complex technical information.
  5. Experience and/or ability to develop commercial software systems.
  6. Analyze business requirements and assess impact within existing system architectures.
  7. Document requirements and specifications while maintaining software functionality.
  8. Experience with test-driven development methodologies.
  9. Advanced skills, Python, C#, UI/UX, Freemarker, .NET, PHP, NodeJS, CSS, HTML, Java, Jenkins, PowerShell.
  10. Core banking platform experience in PowerON, PowerFrameDocs, and JavaScript.
  11. Middleware and tools, Visual Studio, Telerik, VS Code, SymXchange, and JetBrainsIDE.
  12. Security knowledge and experience with Snyk and jFrog.
  13. Excellent knowledge of relational databases, MS SQL, MongoDB, SnowFlake, and MySQL.
  14. Knowledge in cloud computing, data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
  15. Detailed understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  16. Advanced knowledge and experience developing security into the code.
  17. Comprehend and produce specifications to determine operational feasibility.
  18. Proficiency in software engineering and artificial intelligence tools.
  19. Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
  20. Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions.
  21. Integrate software components into a fully functional software ecosystem.
  22. Lead teams in problem-solving, implementations, and systems on-boarding.
  23. Ability to lead teams during extremely complex implementations.
  24. Oversight with enterprise-wide deployments from a consulting/advisory perspective.
  25. Collaborating in close partnership with cross-functional and management teams.
  26. Staying up to date with the industry and studying the latest trends and techniques.
  27. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Critical Development Experiences:

Education and experience equivalent to:

Seven to ten years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience

A four-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school equivalent to approximately 128 credit hours.

REQUIREMENTS

Regular attendance and timeliness are essential functions of this position. While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for a significant period of time and perform functions that require manual dexterity. The employee must occasionally reach above or below normal body position, stoop or bend, and carry, lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
