Shift: First, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Start Time: 8 am (give or take an hour - can be flexible)
Is Clearance Required To Start?: No

Provides basic assistance to define requirements, design and document architectures, data and information management systems and components. Provides assistance to review conformance with design constraints. Assists others to incorporate architecture functions into software development lifecycle. Assists with the development and maintenance of basic architecture views and models. Gathers data on existing architecture solutions and alternatives. Supports the evaluations of products to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments. Drafts data and information management products and service standards.
The Oklahoma City C-17 team is currently looking for a computing architect to join their team in OKC. The team supports the development, testing, and qualification of avionics software for the C-17 platform. In this role, you will contribute as part of a team, to create solutions to operational logistical challenges: many of which are unique, novel, or have never been attempted before. You will be challenged to deliver innovative solutions that advance our capabilities and apply them to real world problems.
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update servers
- Maintain established network infrastructure
- comply with cybersecurity patches
- Create robust backup protocols for data integrity
- Integrate VPN/LabNet protocols and equipment
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience with Redhat and Linux systems
- 2+ years experience with windows systems
- 2+ year administering server systems
- 2+ years complying with cyber security protocols
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with STIG/SCAP/NESSUS
- Familiar with LabNet
- Experience creating backups/images of computing equipment
