Job description

Would you enjoy working outdoors and across a campus, keeping spaces safe, clean, and running smoothly? Do you take pride in hands-on work and noticing the details others might miss? Allagash Brewing Company in Portland would love to talk to you about joining our team as a Seasonal Facilities Support team member.

We’re looking for someone to support our Facilities team during a busy season on campus. This entry-level role plays an important part in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-functioning environment for both employees and visitors. You’ll assist with routine campus inspections, respond to maintenance needs, support repair projects, and help keep tools, equipment, and supply areas organized. You’ll work alongside an experienced Facilities and Engineering team and gain exposure to a wide range of maintenance tasks across the brewery.

You’ll do well here if you’re observant, dependable, and enjoy variety in your day. This is a physical, hands-on role that involves lifting up to 50 pounds, and may involve working indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions, using ladders, and safely operating tools and equipment. You’ll spend much of your shift on your feet, completing tasks such as basic repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep across buildings and grounds.

This is a seasonal full-time position based on our Portland campus. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The seasonal period runs from late May to September 25.
