Position Overview

Legacy Staffing is seeking a motivated and hardworking Yard Hand on behalf of an oilfield services client. This is an entry-level, fast-paced, and physically demanding role supporting the handling, preparation, and inspection of oilfield tubular products such as drill pipe, tubing, and casing. This position offers a strong entry point into the oil and gas industry, with opportunities for advancement into inspection and equipment operation roles.

Key ResponsibilitiesPipe Handling & Preparation
  • Clean, move, and position pipe to prepare for inspection, coating, or loading
  • Assist with staging materials for production and inspection crews
Yard Maintenance
  • Organize pipe racks and maintain orderly yard conditions
  • Stack and secure pipe using appropriate materials and methods
  • Support general yard upkeep and cleanliness
Inspection & Quality Support
  • Assist inspection crews with preparation for non-destructive testing (NDT)
  • Support quality control efforts to ensure materials meet standards
Loading & Equipment Support
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials using manual labor or equipment
  • Support forklift and crane operations when needed (training provided where applicable)
Safety Compliance
  • Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
