Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns, formulate accurate clinical diagnoses, and develop effective treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions.
- Provide crisis intervention services to clients facing acute mental health challenges, effectively employing de-escalation techniques to ensure client safety and stability.
- Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards for documentation, including detailed treatment plans and progress notes.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care, share insights, and enhance treatment outcomes for clients.
- Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources, and advocate strongly for their rights and needs throughout the therapeutic process.
- Engage in ongoing education and training to stay abreast of the latest best practices in mental health therapy, ensuring an up-to-date knowledge base that informs client care.
You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, representing various backgrounds and experiences. The focus lies on providing culturally competent care that addresses a wide range of mental health concerns—from anxiety and depression to more complex trauma-related issues. Qualifications- Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist, holding LMFT, LPC, or LCSW credentials.
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field is required.
- Proven clinical assessment and diagnostic skills to effectively understand and address clients' mental health challenges.
- A minimum of two years of related experience in a clinical or counseling setting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective client engagement and collaboration with team members.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to the team dynamic.
- A strong commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and professional practices.
- Previous experience within a community health clinic or similar outpatient setting is highly desirable but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote client engagement strategies to enhance service delivery.
The salary for this role ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, with a sign-on bonus offered for qualified candidates.
