Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Fill out necessary paperwork for maintaining inventory, ordering, and repair records.

  • Answer incoming phone calls and take messages as necessary.

  • Computer input of processing of purchase orders, work orders, parts information and inventories.

  • Research parts and order as necessary through the Quick Base program.

  • Coordinate with purchasers to ensure the use of preferred vendors and pricing.

  • Communicate with foreman on inventory levels, upcoming parts needs and scheduling outside repairs.

  • Collect month end equipment meters and fuel inventory levels.

  • Complete monthly safety and environmental inspections.

  • Run errands for parts, supplies, etc.

  • Run forklift to unload incoming and load outgoing shipments.

  • Assist drivers, mechanics, laborers, etc. in locating parts and supplies.

  • Other Duties as assigned.

  • Sweeps shop premises and maintain a clean and organized work area for shop members.

  • Demonstrates safe work habits and takes an active role in the Company’s safety program.

  • Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions.

  • Other tasks and duties as assigned to meet business needs.

  • Regular and timely attendance.

  • Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment.

  • Routinely assist other members of the workforce in different areas of production

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Must pass physical exam and pre-employment-controlled substance testing. “Per RCW 49.44.240 this position has been identified by the employer as safety sensitive and will be subject to an employer-required pre-employment drug screening that includes testing for nonpsychoactive cannabis metabolites.”

  • Demonstrates a willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

  • Safety minded professional who demonstrates good performance and attendance.

  • Must have current US Authorization to work or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date.

  • Demonstrates a positive attitude in a team environment.

  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently, without direct supervision.
